Why I Support Mercy Ships
People often ask why I chose to support Mercy Ships.
The answer began with a video. I watched the story of children who desperately needed life-changing surgery but had no access to it. I knew I wanted to help.
There was just one problem: I was terrified of public speaking.
Then I discovered Mercy Ships was looking for volunteer speakers. I realised that if facing my fear could help bring hope to children and families, then it was worth it.
Today, I’m proud to volunteer as a speaker, sharing the incredible work of Mercy Ships with schools, churches and community groups.
That journey also inspired the message at the heart of Fiona Fry.
I’m happy to speak to schools, churches, community groups and organisations about Mercy Ships, resilience and the power of taking one small brave step.
